Have you ever "pulled a Peter"?

Have you ever "pulled a Peter"? One minute he is focused, getting it, doing the right things.....then the next he is bumbling, letting his arrogance ruin his day (walking on water and getting dunked --  standing up for Jesus.....then debating him...  impulsive, arrogant, loud, failing, faltering)

He is so human.  I love it.

I have to be honest....I have "pulled many Peters"  Hot to cold.  In the game and yelling from the sidelines at those playing.  In one minute, then out the next.

Focused....the distracted.

Energized and burnout.

Is that faith?  Sometimes I'm baffled at how I can be completely about ministry, discipleship....and then I doubt my abilities and the like.

Some days....it is hard.  Other days....it is like coasting.

What is that all about?

Why is it.....I want nothing more than for my whole life to be about Him--and then, before even a day has gone by, I find myself doing or saying something that doesn't line up with my earlier intentions. That's right where Peter found himself, too.
Yet, Jesus really like Peter.  He focused a lot of time and attention....
